World Mental Health Day this year was all about wellbeing in the workplace. Research carried out by the mental health charity Mind found that 30 per cent of staff wouldn’t be able to talk openly with their line manager if they were feeling stressed.
That’s why Upskill People has developed a Wellbeing course as part of our Managing People series. The course is endorsed by Mind in Haringey and designed to help managers monitor for potential mental health issues at work.
Because it’s much harder to spot a mental health issue than a physical condition, we’ve put together a free guide to help managers spot mental health warning signs. This is just one of the resources available as part of Upskill People’s Managing People e-learning series.
You’ll also be able to view a short animation that highlights the key things every manager needs to consider when it comes to managing the mental health and wellbeing of their team.
